Samsung SSD 470 Series

Samsung has announced that they’ve managed to sell more than 10,000 units of 470 Series SSDs in its home market. The electronics giant became the first player to sell SSDs directly to consumers in Korea and managed to achieve this feat in about 2 months since the launch in January.

SSDs are superior to conventional HDDs as the former does not have any moving parts, making it faster and more reliable than HDDs. The 470 Series is a 2.5-inch 256GB SSD that supports SATA interface and has a read speed of up to 250MB/s and write speed of up to 220MB/s.
