Samsung has introduced its 2011 range of Smart TVs in India including four LED TV series – D5500, D6000, D7000 and D8000 as well as D8000 Plasma series. The new 3D Smart TVs boast a narrow bezel that allows Samsung to increase the screen size of the television without increasing the overall size of the TV. The new Plasmas also feature +1 design, which means it can accommodate an additional inch of viewable screen in the same dimensions of say, a regular 40-inch Plasma TV.

The TVs are equipped with Smart Hub that allows users to watch videos online, Search content on the web or on a DLNA connected device, surf the internet, social networking and Samsung Apps support.

Samsung’s LED TV range are available in sizes between 40-to 60-inches with price starting from Rs. 68,900 to Rs. 400,000 whereas the D8000 Plasma is available in 64-inches at a price of Rs. 230,000.
