Siemens-owned Osram sues Samsung for infringing LED-related patents

June 6, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

Siemen’s Osram has also jumped into the lawsuit game by suing Samsung Electronics in US and Germany. Osram claims Samsung infringes some of 10 US patents related to the technology in LED displays.

“Samsung has, without authorization or license, infringed,” and “in a willful and wanton manner in deliberate disregard of the patent rights.”

Osram is seeking damages and an order to block imports of the infringing Samsung products.
