Verizon to launch Galaxy S II in July (Update: No)

June 9, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

UPDATE: Oops! Looks like a big miscommunication. ComputerWorld has updated the article saying the spokesperson meant 4G Galaxy Tab 10.1 coming in July and not Galaxy S II.

Verizon spokesperson has confirmed that consumers can expect the Samsung Android flagship on their network anytime next month. The executive failed to lock in an exact date but confirmed it will be launched in July. It will be known as Galaxy S II Function, if the previous rumor is true.

The Galaxy S II is also expected on other operators in United States but none have confirmed any details about the handset.
