Vodafone UK replaces Galaxy Tab 10.1v with slimmer Galaxy Tab 10.1, gains a 1.2GHz CPU in the process (Updated)

UPDATE: Looks like it was a typo. Vodafone has now changed the processor clock speed to 1GHz.

Vodafone UK today announced that they’ll replace the Galaxy Tab 10.1v variant – which was exclusive to Vodafone – with the global Galaxy Tab 10.1 variant. Interestingly, this move also has a little surprise with the processor, which seems to have been bumped up to 1.2GHz. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 that was unveiled at CTIA and went on sale in United States today boasts a 1GHz processor.

However, rest of the features appear to be same with the tablet running Honeycomb OS combined with a 10.1-inch display, Wi-Fi and 3G support, Bluetooth 3.0, TouchWiz UI etc.
