Display maker, AU Optronics has retaliated to Samsung’s lawsuit by countersuing the Korean’s Electronics division along with its customers AT&T, Best Buy and BrandsMart USA. AU Optronics says Samsung and its customers infringe 10 of their patents related to LCD used in TV, monitors, notebooks and OLED used in mobile phones.
AU Optronics has filed lawsuits in Delaware and the Northern District of California courts and has also filed a complaint with the U.S. ITC to stop the import and sale of infringed products.
