Samsung to launch 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot on LG U+ in South Korea

June 30, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung SHV-E100L

Samsung is readying to launch a 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot for South Korean consumers. The SHV-E100L is similar to the hotspot being sold in United States and will be sold by LG U+ in their home country. If you’re unaware, Mobile Hotspot creates a Wi-Fi hotspot that allows users to surf the web on their Wi-Fi-enabled devices on 4G LTE speeds. This hotspot also supports EVDO Rev. A so in case of unavailability of a 4G network, users will still be able to surf on 3G speeds.

The 82g device can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi devices at once and boasts a 1,600mAh battery capable of running continuously for up to 5 hours.

There’s no word on the price or availability.

Thanks, Jeonn!
