Samsung has announced three new 3G-enabled yet affordable phones for the Indian market. First is the Champ 3.5G (S3770) that was leaked last month. Champ 3.5G is a full-touch device that comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA display, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 2MP camera, SoundAlive, 30MB internal memory with memory expansion support of up to 16GB and 1000mAh battery. Champ 3.5G will sell for Rs. 5,590.
Next up is the Chat 527 (S5270) that also showed its face early last month. Targeted at avid texters and messaging users, the phone comes with an optical trackpad, a QWERTY keyboard, 2.4-inch display, Wi-Fi, FM Radio, microSD card slot up to 16GB and 1000mAh battery. It will be available for Rs. 5,930.
Next up is the simple and sleek Primo (S5610). Clad in a metallic design, Primo comes with a 2.4-inch display, 5MP camera with flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, front-facing VGA camera and microSD card slot supporting up to 16GB. It will be priced at Rs. 6,590.
