JK Shin

Samsung is pretty confident of meeting its smartphones and tablets sales target for 2011. Head of Samsung Mobile division, JK Shin confirmed that they’ll be able to meet the target easily, considering smartphones like Galaxy S II and the Galaxy Tab devices selling well. Samsung yesterday announced to have sold 10m units of Galaxy S II.

We are confident of meeting our sales targets for tablets and handsets made earlier this year.

Samsung expects to sell about 300m smartphones and increase tablet sales by five times.
