Australian court fixes March date for Samsung’s hearing against iPhone 4S

November 15, 2011 By kunal Leave a Comment

Australian Federal Court Justice Annabelle Bennett announced that the hearing to decide on the iPhone 4S ban will be held sometime in March. The date will be fixed later this week.

The case will be fixed for a hearing for three weeks, commencing in March, 2012, with the date to be fixed on Friday.

Apple wanted to push the final hearing date in August next year but Bennett turned down the request as she reckoned it would be an disadvantage to Samsung as “they’re trying to expand the Android Market.”

The sales of the iPhone 4S will remain unaffected.
