Microsoft and Samsung have announced that the SUR40 multi-touch display is now available for pre-order. B2B customers looking to incite consumer interaction in retail or a banking environment can order the 40-inch display with delivery expected sometime in early next year.

SUR40 or Surface 2 has a 40-inch multi-touch 4-inches thin display that has the ability to recognize fingers, blobs and even objects and supports full HD 1920×1080 resolution. Powering the SUR40 is AMD Athlon X2 Dual-core 2.9GHz CPU, AMD HD6750M GPU, 4GB RAM and 320GB of hard drive storage.
