Samsung is the leading monitor manufacturing company, according to a report from IDC. Samsung’s global market share for monitors stood at 15.5 percent (figure till Q3 2011), making them the number one company since Q3 2006.
The report also sheds some light on Samsung’s quarterly figures which were up by 10 percent from Q2 to 6.42 million units. Samsung also sold 3.49m LED monitors in the last quarter, affirming the shift from LCD to LED-based monitors.
