Samsung hints at S Pen input for larger-screen devices

Galaxy Note

Samsung received a positive response with the integration of S Pen in its Galaxy Note “Phablet” and it seems the Korean giant will extend the pen input to other devices as well. In an interview with the Laptop, Ryan Bidan, product marketing manager of Samsung confirmed to the site that they may leverage the pen input to a “number of screen sizes.”

Yes, I think so. I think a pen interface continues to make a lot of sense across a number of screen sizes, like the larger is more obvious of those. That’s about as specific as I can be without announcing a product.

The integration of S Pen to new devices makes sense since Samsung is attracting developers with a dedicated S Pen SDK.
