Samsung initiates HOPE Project in India

February 20, 2012 By kunal Leave a Comment

Samsung’s HOPE for Children Project is global initiative and now they’ve extended their HOPE Project for the Indian region as well. As part of its CSR, Samsung under its HOPE Project will provide quality education to underprivileged children with the help of “modern teaching methods and available technology.”

Samsung has roped in two partners – Aid India and SMILE Foundation to reach children over 100 villages in Tamil Nadu and Delhi/Uttar Pradesh respectively. Additionally, Samsung has promised to contribute Rs. 100 towards the project for every Galaxy Note sold from February to June 2012.

Back in November, Samsung India had flagged off its Wheel of Hope bus that aimed to give underprivileged students first-hand experience of Samsung’s latest technology.
