Samsung Galaxy S III rumored to have 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD Plus display, undergo testing

Earlier rumor suggested that Samsung will integrate a full HD 1080p display in Galaxy S III but a new report by DDaily claims Samsung’s Mobile Display unit is producing a new 4.65-inch display supporting 720p resolution for the upcoming Galaxy flagship.

Unlike Samsung’s previous phones that featured a 1280×720 display, Galaxy S III’s display panel will be a Super AMOLED HD Plus one, which means it won’t be PenTile.

Furthermore, Samsung has confirmed that South Korean operators are testing the phone, which could take couple of months since the Galaxy S III features a quad-core processor and LTE.
