Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) Teardown

Samsung’s latest Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has got the teardown treatment by Tech Republic. The site ripped out Samsung’s cheapest tablet and have come to the conclusion that it is easy to open up and thanks to a proper hardware layout coupled with battery’s snap-on connector, replacing a new 4000mAh battery won’t be a hassle.

The dissection also reveals Samsung’s choice of processor, which is TI’s 1GHz dual-core 4430 OMAP, just like Amazon’s Kindle Fire.
