Galaxy S, Galaxy S II sales surpass 50m; Galaxy Note reaches 7m units

Samsung has confirmed that their first two Galaxy S devices have managed to surpass cumulative sales of 50 million units. Since the launch of Galaxy S in June 2010, Samsung has sold over 24 million units whereas Galaxy S II sales account for 28 million handsets in just 13 months, making Galaxy S II the fastest selling device for Samsung.

Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy Note phablet has recorded sales of 7 million units.
