Samsung confirmed at the Galaxy S III World Tour that Chinese consumers will be able to buy the new Galaxy phone from June 9. The phone will be available on three operators – China Mobile (GT-I9308), China Unicom (GT-I9300) and China Telecom (SCH-I939).
While the features of the devices remain the same, the I9308 model supports TD-SCDMA network, I9300 supports WCDMA/EDGE and I939 CDMA2000 along with GSM/WCDMA for international roaming.
All variants run Android 4.0 and come with a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 1GB RAM, 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED Display, 8MP and 1.9MP cameras, full HD video recording and playback, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microSD card slot up to 64GB and Samsung customized services like Smart Stay, Smart Alert, Pop up Play, Direct Call, Burst mode etc.
