Verizon, AT&T Galaxy S III users won’t get 50GB Dropbox of free storage

June 10, 2012 By kunal 1 Comment

Galaxy S III user are eligible for 50GB of free Dropbox storage for a period of 2 years. However, as per Dropbox’s support page, Galaxy S III users on AT&T and Verizon won’t get the free storage. The page claims “select carriers have opted-out of the promotion on phones otherwise eligible,” which includes the aforementioned American carriers.

We’re not sure of the exact reason but apparently Galaxy S III consumers on other U.S. carriers like T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular will get the free storage.
