SAFE-branded Galaxy S III

Samsung has a program known as Samsung Approved for Enterprise (SAFE) wherein devices are tested to meet the requirements of the corporates. Now Samsung has confirmed that their Galaxy S III has earned the same certification, which means the device is optimized to be used in an enterprise environment.

SAFE-branded Galaxy S III will be available in July in US on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and US Cellular and supports 338 IT policies like on-device AES-256 bit encryption, enhanced support for Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync and support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

SAFE-branded Galaxy S III will also come with features like 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED Display, TecTiles, NFC, S Beam, Direct Call, Smart Stay, Smart Alert and more.

Samsung has also initiated a trade-in program to swap the existing device to a SAFE-branded Galaxy S III.
