Samsung Mobile Display has asked LG Display to confess to have facilitated an OLED technology leak after 11 employees from SMD and LG Display were indicted for leaking the technology from Samsung.
Samsung says the leak will make them lose “trillions of won” and accused LG Display of orchestrating the leak at the corporate level.
LG Display on the other hand, has bluntly refuted to Samsung Display’s claims and have confirmed to sue Samsung for libel. LG noted that they don’t need Samsung’s display tech details as both company’s OLED tech work differently.
