At the Mobile Unpacked event yesterday, Samsung also confirmed the availability of Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean release for some of its existing devices. Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 10.1 users can expect the Android OS upgrade “very soon”, however, no timeline has been set.
Interestingly, Samsung didn’t utter a word about the update for Galaxy S II, which could mean Samsung is planning to release the update only after these three devices receive it or worse, no update at all. Let’s hope Samsung clears the air regarding Galaxy S II soon.
