Samsung to buy SSD Caching company NVELO

December 17, 2012 By kunal Leave a Comment

NVELO

Samsung has confirmed to acquire US-based NVELO, a provider of SSD caching solution. NVELO develops Dataplex storage technology that helps users to improve the performance of their storage by caching most used files and applications on an SSD while giving the vast storage found on the HDD.

Although monetary details under the agreement are kept under wrap, Samsung will take over all the technology and NVELO employees. Samsung plans to integrate Dataplex into their own SSD technologies.
