Samsung’s memo for Vision 2020 was to invest in healthcare industry and continuing in its pursuit is the latest acquisition from Samsung’s American subsidiary. Samsung Electronics America has acquired NeuroLogica that makes portable CT scanners products like BodyTom and CereTom.
Although the details of the deal are kept confidential, Samsung plans to leverage its position in the consumer electronics business to expand its healthcare biz.
