Samsung HomeSync brings Android to TVs along with 1TB storage

Samsung HomeSync

In addition to Galaxy Note 8.0, Samsung also announced HomeSync at MWC today. HomeSync basically allows your regular HDTV to transform into a Smart TV, thanks to the Android Jelly Bean OS onboard and gives 1TB of storage that can be shared securely amongst various users in the house to store their multimedia content.

As for the hardware, HomeSync is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 1TB HDD and 8GB eMMC, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, microUSB port, HDMI 1.4 support.

HomeSync will be available in the United States from April 2013 and will be gradually expanded to other markets.
