Galaxy Camera

Samsung announced a cheaper Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Camera variant earlier this year and has now announced the availability for the American market. Consumers who want the goodness of Android OS sans 3G/LTE connectivity, the Galaxy Camera will be available later this month carrying a price tag of $450.

Except for the removal of 3G and a lower price tag, we’re looking at the same Galaxy Camera with 21X optical zoom, 16 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 4.8-inch HD Super Clear Touch display, HD video recording support and a variety of photo-taking and editing tools.

The Galaxy Camera runs Android 4.1 and features 1.4GHz quad-core processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, access to Google services.
