Samsung will deploy LTE for Three Ireland

Three Ireland – a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa has selected Samsung to deploy its LTE equipment in Ireland. As part of the agreement, Samsung will be the sole provider of LTE Radio Access Network (RAN) and LTE core infrastructure equipment, making Ireland the second country in Europe where Samsung will facilitate to roll out commercial mobile network.

The planned service launch is in August 2013 in Dublin followed by other regions.

Samsung is delighted to partner with Three Ireland to build the first Irish LTE network. This contract will spur Samsung to accelerate our business in Europe. We will bring the highest quality of LTE experience which has been proved in several of the leading LTE markets.
