Companies are known to explore variety of interactions for their devices and Samusng has teamed up with the University of Texas to explore how users can interact with their brains. Admittedly, Samsung does not have any plans to offer this in the near future but the company has managed to create a working prototype with the Galaxy Note 10.1 that allows users to launch an app, select a contact or a song from a playlist etc. The desired result was achieved with a cap worn by the subject that monitors EEG readings.

Needless to say, this looks cumbersome but could prove useful for physically disabled users. Samsung says the current experiment reported an accuracy ranging from 80 to 95 percent.
