Samsung sells Liquavista to Amazon

May 14, 2013 By kunal Leave a Comment

liquavista

The rumour to sell Liquavista surfaced in March and it seems the deal went through in late April. The Digital Reader reports the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce has listed an unknown owner of Liquavista and not Samsung.

The site says it’s a strategy deployed by Amazon to hide their FCC filings but interestingly, Amazon confirmed the transaction and will look to integrate Liquavista technology in its own products.

The price is unknown at the moment but the previous rumour claimed the price to be less than $100 million.
