Samsung has apparently released the Android 4.2.2 update for Galaxy Grand Duos (GT-I9082) in the Russian market. The I9082XXUBMGA update is available via OTA or can be downloaded via Samsung’s desktop Kies software.
We’re not sure of the exact changes but the new update should be in line with the leaked one we saw last month with features like transparent notification bar, Day dream, Smart Stay, lens glare effect unlocking and improved battery life.
Since the same variant of Galaxy Grand is sold in India, we can expect the update to reach our shores pretty soon, in addition to the two new colours Samsung announced today.
