Samsung UK today launched a new app for Galaxy device owners. Dubbed as My Galaxy, the app is available on the Play Store and will enable users to “get the most from their smartphones”. The app is created in collaboration with Monitise Create and will give access to exclusive offers for movies and music, tickets for events and even a gateway to learn about new accessories and other products from the integrated shopping portal.
Furthermore, My Galaxy will notify users about the latest software update and even show interactive walk-throughs for some of Samsung’s features.
The app is compatible with UK-based handsets and currently supports Galaxy Fame, Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S III mini, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II. Going forward the app will be pre-installed in all devices sold in the UK.
