Samsung has hired Simon Beresford-Wylie as a Global Executive Advisor for its network business. For the uninitiated, Simon was the former president and CEO of Nokia Solutions and Networks (previously known as Nokia Siemens Networks) and is the CEO a non-profit organisation – Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited.

Simon’s role will include “planning and executing the globalisation strategy of Samsung’s mobile network business”.

We are delighted to announce Simon’s appointment today. Simon’s experience in leading large global organizations perfectly complements our ambitions to accelerate mobile network business within the global market. We welcome Simon to Samsung and wish him every success in his new role.
