Galaxy S4 Google Play edition now receiving Android 4.4 KitKat update

Samsung’s stock Android laden Galaxy S4 Google Play edition can now be updated to Android’s latest KitKat version. In a post on Android’s Google+ account, they’ve announced the commencement of rollout on all Google Play edition devices.

The OTA update will rollout to all users in the next few days and will bring improved memory management, voice search, better multitasking, infrared port support, low-power audio playback and lots more.
