Galaxy J has got the official acknowledgement in Taiwan after the subsidiary had teased it in a video few days back. The phone is more or less similar to what is currently being sold in Japan but is tailored to suit the Taiwanese market with 4G LTE support. The phone also touts its minimalistic design with a narrow bezel and unique texture at the back.

Hardware-wise, the phone is equipped with Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED Display, 13MP camera with 4K video recording support, front-facing 1.9MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.

The phone runs Android 4.3, which means it supports Galaxy Gear and brings software inclusions like S Translator, Parents Mode, Energy saving mode, KNOX.
