Samsung has sued UK-based Dyson over a vacuum cleaner design patent, reports MK News. Samsung is claiming 10 billion won ($9.4 million) in damages and alleges Dyson to hamper “Samsung’s reputation through malicious suits.”

Last year, Dyson had filed a case against Samsung over the design of Motion Sync vacuum cleaner that Samsung had introduced. However, Dyson apparently “withdrew the case” five months later.

The report also mentions Samsung calculated its brand value at 63 trillion won and could seek additional damages.
