Gear Fit’s curved display isn’t the only thing that’s curved. Samsung SDI – another Samsung subsidiary – has announced to have developed the curved battery for wearable devices. The battery utilises a V-bending technology that helps to reduce the size of the battery but also at the same time increases battery capacity.
With this 210mAh battery, Samsung says the Gear Fit can run for up to five days with low usage on a single charge.
Samsung maybe the first one to integrate a curved battery in a wearable device but LG has already claimed the world’s first in the smartphone department with its G Flex phone.
