Samsung’s HDD business unit which is owned by Seagate, has started shipping Samsung branded wireless media device for mobile devices. The Samsung Wireless looks to be a variant of Seagate’s Wireless drives and enables users enjoy all their movies, music and other content right from the Wireless device drive.

The Samsung Wireless can store up to 1.5TB of data and comes with built-in Wi-Fi that streams content over Wi-Fi to five different devices with the help of an app. The device also supports USB 3.0 interface and can also be used to charge existing smartphones and other mobile devices.

Samsung Wireless retails for $179.
