Advantage of having a Google Play Edition device is the fast roll out of software updates and Android Central reports that Galaxy S4’s GPE device is getting updated to the latest KitKat build – Android 4.4.3. The 160MB-odd update claims improvement in performance, stability and resolves number of bugs.
Google started the roll out of Android 4.4.3 to its Nexus devices yesterday and is now rolling out to its Google Play Edition devices.
There’s no word as to when a regular Galaxy S4 with TouchWiz UI will get the latest Android update.
