In a sustainability report published by Samsung, the company found 59 suppliers to flout safety regulations for workers. According to the report, Samsung suppliers failed to comply with China’s permitted overtime hours but were in line with the child labour laws.

The report can be found here and Samsung has confirmed to provide additional training to suppliers that will help them to improve the conditions of the workers.

Samsung has taken a lot of heat in the past due to unfair practices adopted by its suppliers and promised to expand its inspection checklist to other regions like Southeast Asia.
