Samsung’s latest metal-frame-toting Galaxy Alpha will be available in Canada later this month. Bell Mobility and Virgin Mobile will be the first carriers to sell the Galaxy Alpha and will be priced at CA$145.95 (on 2-year contract) and $699.95 (no contract) at Bell.
The feature set of the phone largely remains unchanged with 2GB RAM, 4.7-inch HD Super AMOLED 1280×720 display, 12 megapixel rear-facing and 2 megapixel front-facing camera, Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS, 32GB internal memory and 1860mAh battery. The only change seems to be on the processor front, which is a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 2.5GHz CPU.
The phone will also feature fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor, Ultra Power Saving Mode, S Health and 4K UHD video recording support.
Galaxy Alpha will be available in Canada in white, black and gold from September 26.
