Samsung is expanding Galaxy S5 Active’s reach as the Korean giant has announced the device for the Canadian market. The phone that was limited to AT&T in United States will be available in Canada in Titanium Grey through “select retailers.”
The phone has the same Galaxy S5 IP67 certification for dust and water resistance but adds a layer of durability by adhering to US Mil-STD-810G making it more resistant against salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation and thermal shock.
On the hardware side, the Galaxy S5 Active features a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, quad-core Snapdragon 2.5GHz, LTE Cat. 4, 16 megapixel rear-facing camera, 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, UHD 4K video recording support, Ultra Power Saving Mode, fingerprint sensor, heart rate sensor, 16GB internal memory, 2800mAh battery.
There’s no word on the price or carriers.
