Report: Samsung, Microsoft executives discuss partnership, patent dispute

Samsung’s Jae-yong Lee met Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella, reports Korea Times. The report cites an unnamed official who claims Lee, Vice Chairman, Samsung Electronics met up with Microsoft’s new CEO to discuss their ongoing patent dispute and ways to expand partnership with MIcrosoft.

Earlier this year, Microsoft sued Samsung in the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York alleging non-compliance of the agreement that was signed in 2011.

The report also mentions that Microsoft could collaborate with Samsung for the construction of a data center in Busan.
