Samsung is expanding the availability of Gear S and South Korea is the latest country to get the new smartwatch. Gear S’ uniqueness compared to previous Gear smartwatches is the integrated 3G SIM slot that allows users to make calls from the smartwatch, surf internet and even send messages.
The smartwatch is IP67 certified that will keep the watch safe from water and dust and features a 2-inch curved Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, Bluetooth, GPS, 4GB internal memory, Heart-rate sensor, UV Sensor, Barometer and 300mAh battery that will give about 2 days of battery life.
The Gear S also features app support like HERE Maps, S Health, Nike+ Running, S Voice and Opera Mini.
The Gear S will retail in blue-black and white colours through KT and SKT for 297,000 won.
