Samsung Electronics announced its annual structural reorganisation for 2015 and it’s evident the changes reflect the urgency in the mobile handset department.

As part of these changes, the Media Solution Center (MSC) and the Global B2B Center (GBC) have been integrated into related organisations while a part of MSC is now a part of Mobile Communications Business.

Samsung’s sales subsidiaries in the USA, Samsung Electronics America (SEA) and Samsung Telecommunications America (STA) will now be a single entity, headquartered out of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.

Samsung also shuffled some executive positions, including the appointment of new regional presidents in Southwest Asia and Europe. Additionally, Executive VP – Seokpil Kim is now the Head of Strategic Marketing Office whereas Dongjin Koh is now the Head of the Mobile R&D Office at the Mobile Communications Business.
