Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A has been announced for many markets but it seems South Korea is the first region where Samsung will sell the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen support. The tablet will be available in both LTE and Wi-Fi variants and is more or less similar to the international variant of Galaxy Tab A except for the inclusion of S Pen and its associated feature like Smart Select.
The 7.5mm thick tablet features a 9.7-inch XGA display (1024×768) and is powered by a 1.2Ghz quad-core processor, 1.5GB RAM for non-S Pen variant and 2GB RAM for S Pen variant, 5 megapixel main camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot supporting up to 128GB and 6000mAh battery.
The tablet also comes with Kids Mode, pre-loaded Microsoft apps and runs Android Lollipop OS.
The LTE and Wi-Fi Galaxy A models with S Pen will sell for 484,000 won and 399,000 won respectively whereas the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab A without S Pen is priced at 349,000. The LTE model without S Pen will be available through carriers from mid-May.
