Samsung has announced to have created a web browser that is optimised with its latest Gear VR device. While VR is pitched as a technology to enhance the gaming and video viewing experience, Samsung Internet for Gear VR brings regular websites in virtual reality world and even allows 360-degree and 3D video streaming, HTML5 video from the web.

There’s an on-screen keyboard along with voice recognition and Gaze Mode that allows users to select menus by simply gazing at them.

The beta version of the app is now available in the Oculus Store from today and works with devices like Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note5.
