Samsung’s matchbox-sized external portable SSD is now available in the American market. The extremely compact external drive has the ability to store up to 2TB of data. The drive features Samsung’s Vertical NAND (V-NAND) and SSD TurboWrite technology that helps to copy/read 4K data and reaches up to 450MB/s in sequential transfer speeds with USB 3.1 Type C interface.
The drive weighs just 50g but despite its puny weight, the drive can withstand up to 1500G of force,
Additionally, the drive supports AES 256-bit hardware encryption and is compatible with a complementary Android app that allows to change passwords and see remaining storage.
The drive is available in capacities from 250GB for $129.99 and goes up to 2TB at a price of $849.99.
