Samsung Pay

Samsung has announced that its Samsung Pay service is now available in China. The Korean company has teamed up with China UnionPay (CUP) that makes it easier for the service to have a wider reach and adheres to local laws and regulations. Currently, Samsung Pay supports credit and debit cards from nine banks and works with devices like Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+ and Galaxy Note5 with more devices slated to support it in the future.

For the uninitiated, Samsung Pay allows consumers to pay through their smartphones at QuickPass supported POS with NFC and even at POS without NFC, thanks to the integrated MST technology.
