Samsung has temporarily stopped production of its current flagship device – Galaxy Note7. The report comes from Korean news agency, Yonhap News who’s citing a source claiming the recent reports of safe marked Galaxy Note7 catching fire.

Samsung has purportedly stopped production in its Vietnam factory that is said to be responsible for global shipments of the device.

Last month, Samsung announced a major global recall of the Galaxy Note7 and even trumpeted that over 60 percent users in US and South Korea have exchanged for the safe Galaxy Note7. However, the situation deteriorated after these safe marked Galaxy Note7 also suffered the same fate. Until now, there have been five incidents involving the new Galaxy Note7 in the United States and one each in South Korea and Taiwan.
