Samsung may have stopped sales of its Galaxy Note 7 smartphone but the company is yet to reveal the real reason why the phone was catching fire. Now according to a Korea Herald source, the company has been working with experts in South Korea and US and the announcement to reveal the exact cause could come before we wrap up 2016.

The mystery around the cause of fire is interesting because Samsung couldn’t pinpoint the exact cause even after blaming the Samsung SDI-manufactured battery during the first recall.

Samsung reportedly sold 4.3 million units before taking them off the shelves.
